ChinookX began as the Data Sovereignty for Indigenous Sovereignty seed project from ParTecK’17 and has evolved into ChinookX Technologies Ltd (CXT) and ChinookX Networks (CXN). CXT is an Indigenous owned company partnering with First Nations to build data centres and Indigenous Innovation Districts for piloting emerging clean energy technologies. CXN is a non profit conducting research into Indigenous consensus protocols and developing regulatory frameworks to link CXT network nodes. Lee will outline the evolution of the strategy and the implications of Indigenous assertion on the future of infrastructure in Canada.
